Présences is a work that eludes explanation. It seeks neither to convince nor to illustrate. It is there—whole, vibrant, indomitable. Jérémie Boudreault, a hybrid artist, offers an immersive installation where body, gesture, and matter converse without filter. The hands, omnipresent, become language. They touch, scratch, caress, and disappear.
The viewer is not guided. He is invited to wander, as he pleases, through columns, false frames, chandeliers, as if in a labyrinth, to lose himself, to feel, to react. To become one with the work.
In a world saturated with instructions, tutorials, and protocols, Présences embraces instinct, vagueness, and discomfort. It's a free zone. An experience to be lived, not understood.
